Alferca’s plant

Our production plant is located in Castellbisbal, covering over 1900 m2, and our machinery has the capacity of meeting any demand of standard parts (for the distribution sector), gas meter batteries (made to order) and special parts (brass couplings, cutting and shaping of aluminium, iron, brass and copper tubes).

Tube cutting

Machinery with automatic load and download, with “KleenCut” technology, which allows us to have really small tolerances as well as to reduce the shaving to its minimum.

Copper tube shaping

Our 5-axis tube benders are electric and have the capacity to bend copper tubes from Ø 4mm to Ø 28mm.Our 5-axis tube benders are electric and have the capacity to bend copper tubes from Ø 4mm to Ø 28mm.

The 3-axis tube shapers have 5 punches and a facing one, and they can work tubes from Ø 4mm to Ø 50mm. The power of these machines is 5 Tn.

Brass swaging

Our manufacture line is divided into 4 sections:

• Swaging section: it has a wide range of automated hot-swaging presses which have an integrated system of cutting the butt with a hot guillotine, avoiding shrinkage and increasing the capacity of adjusting the use of brass in accordance with its behaviour.
• Granulating section: with steel micro-spheres.
• Mechanizing section:we have state-of-the-art transfer machines, which allows us to globally respond to our customers.
• Mold maintenance section: outfit of tools and mold maintenance and manufacture workshop.
